Hyderabad: The 6th edition of Leadership Conclave ‘Say Yes 2025,’ organised by the Southern Region of Confederation of Indian Industry’s India Women Network (CII-IWN), with the theme, “Reimagine a Better Tomorrow,” concluded in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Delivering the valedictory address, Dr Chandrika Kaushik, Director General - Production Coordination & Services Interaction (PC & SI), DRDO, emphasised that as the nation is marching towards Viksit Bharat, leadership has to be defined by courage, innovation, and inclusivity.
“Women are not just participants in progress - they are architects of transformation, shaping industries with resilience and vision,” she highlighted adding that an advanced nation thrives when opportunities are driven by capability, vision, and purpose, urging collective action to empower women in leadership. Smita Vaish Agarwal, past Chairperson, IWN National, in a special address emphasised on the power of networking. “Leadership is not about waiting – it is about stepping forward, creating opportunities, and driving transformation. It is about owning your narrative, rewriting the rules, and inspiring others along the way. Real change happens when we lead with courage, lift as we rise, and push forward despite fear. By championing policy and action collectively, we move beyond conversations to create tangible, lasting impact. Together, we do not just build a network - we build a movement,” she added.
Gowri Kailasam, Deputy Chairperson, IWN-SR, underscored that progress lies in inclusive, bold, and transformative leadership.
